In December, the team in Timor held another vendor meeting with 14 vendors from across 9 municipalities. The team has been working hard this year to learn more from sales in the field, and have been testing our hypotheses in other districts to ensure they are replicable.

In the meeting, we passed on valuable marketing insights taken from this fieldwork for our vendors to implement themselves in the new year, and heard from vendors about what they're seeing in the field. Vendors took home a newly developed marketing booklet, some new strategies to try, and heard about organisational changes and new sales incentives for the year ahead.

With more vendors investing their wages into the purchase of filters, the meeting also looked at how filters can be seen as an investment for the future, growing wages and offering a better guarantee than vegetable sales.
