Where are you from?

I grew up in a leafy suburban area of the UK but have spent much of the last 8 years living and working in Latin America, Africa and now Laos.

What's your background?

I studied a BSc in Social Anthropology honing my research and analysis skills and took an MSc in Water Management to help me develop technical skills needed for work on water supply projects in developing countries.

Where have you worked?

I have worked on rural water and education projects in Guatemala, Ecuador, Kenya, Tanzania, DR Congo and Malawi. I have also worked in the head office of two organisations based in London and Dublin.

What's your expertise?

I combine my education background of social science and technical experience to focus on issues of behaviour change, sustainability of projects and program effectiveness.

What do you enjoy most about working with Abundant Water?

I most enjoy the collaboration across the organisation. We have staff, interns and volunteers from so many backgrounds with so many areas expertise. It’s great to work together with such an open and skilled team.

What do you do in your spare time here?

I’m spending my time learning the Lao language, getting to know people here and exploring the city and the country.
